ActivForce Dev Diary #1 - September '24

Welcome to the first edition of our ActivForce Dev Diaries! We want to keep you in the loop on everything we’re building behind the scenes to make sure our tech is delivering the best experience possible for clinicians and patients.

Here’s some recent updates!

Keeping track of test series

  • Added a Home Screen to the Laguna Beta app*
  • Added naming functionality for test series
  • Added search functionality for test series

*Laguna is our internal codename for the new ActivForce App *shh!*

The Laguna Home Screen now displays your last three tests to help with context in the clinic. You can also name test series for easier searching and reference on older test data, or use the default system to keep things organized.

Preparing for future updates

  • Performed internal app maintenance
  • Upgraded dependencies

This sets us up nicely for future design improvements, ensuring smoother updates and functionality.

Powering up

  • Ran regression tests

A big win on battery life. Despite packing our latest release with powerful new features, we've optimized our app to maintain the same battery efficiency as ActivForce 2.

And a battery-powered bonus…

  • Implemented low battery indicator on Android SDK app

Already working on iOS, we’ve now implemented the lower battery indicator on Android for ActivForce Laguna.

We’re really excited to roll these out and get your feedback — and there’s more to come. Stay tuned for the next edition of Dev Diaries!
