ActivForce Dev Diary #7 - April '25

We’ve made steady progress across the app and dashboard, refining the iOS experience and moving closer to the Android release date. Here’s the latest:

ActivForce Dev Diary #7 - April '25

Mobile App (iOS)

Making plenty of small tweaks based on early feedback and findings:

Enhancements & UX Improvements

  • Subject identifier can now be added when saving test series

  • Contact form integrated to make it easier to send feedback

  • Updated test screen visuals to match branding

  • Removed redundant configuration screen for sibling tests

  • More compact setup screens

  • Multiple small UI improvements

Mobile App (Android)

Just a final few fixes before the Android app is released:

  • Automatic calibration before each test to ensure accurate measurements

  • Overall performance and compatibility updates continuing

ActivForce Web Dashboard

New Feature Notification

A dashboard prompt now informs users about the new iOS app to encourage them to try out the new version.

Progress Tracking

We're making steady progress on a new feature that allows tracking of test improvements over time. Tests are grouped by their configuration and subject identifier and listed together. This feature will be added to the dashboard soon.

Under the Hood

Device Web SDK v3

We are working on a new version of an older SDK which allows connecting a device directly to web applications. This SDK enables our partners to integrate our hardware directly into their web apps. Supported browsers are Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome.

Plenty more updates — and a huge launch announcement — to come soon. We’re getting closer to making the ActivForce testing experience a universal one across all major platforms, and we can’t wait to hear what the industry thinks.
