ActivForce Dev Diary #8 - May '25

This month marked a major milestone at ActivForce: the new Android app is now live. The full ActivForce app experience is now available across both major mobile platforms — expanding accessibility, improving flexibility and strengthening our foundation for future innovation.

Alongside the Android launch, we’ve introduced workflow improvements on iOS, expanded result review features, and progressed key updates to the dashboard and SDK.

ActivForce Mobile App

Now Live on Android

The biggest news this month is the release of the Android app, which brings the latest system architecture and core features to Android users. Key interface and functionality improvements from iOS will be added in the next phase.

Coming soon:

  • Test result graphs (force/angle over time)

  • UI improvements to match iOS

  • Higher sampling rate for strength tests (40Hz) — also on iOS

iOS App

We’ve made several enhancements and UX improvements based on early feedback and usage:

  • Sped up left/right sibling tests by skipping the configuration screen

  • Improved test setup to be more intuitive and faster

  • Graph view added to test review screen (force/angle over time)

  • Graphs also accessible from home screen (past tests)

ActivForce Web Dashboard

Progress Tracking (Graph View)

A major update to how test data is displayed over time now allows users to:

  • Group test data by subject identifier and test name

  • Track trends in key metrics like peak force

  • Review performance progression session by session

We’ll continue to improve this functionality over time as we add more features and integrate it with the test reports.

With Android launched and cross-platform updates on the way, we’re excited to keep building from here with workflow improvements and deeper analytics. (And we’re always open to feedback, so please write to us about your experience so far!)
