Understanding Patellar Tendinopathy

Dr. Daniel Stewart and Michael Morgan examine patellar tendinopathy through pathophysiology, structured clinical assessment, and evidence-based rehabilitation. The session addresses why the diagnosis remains clinical, how to navigate the differential, and how objective strength data informs loading decisions and progression.

Key topics &
takeaways

Mechanisms & Risk Factors

Pathophysiology, contributing risk factors, and why patellar tendinopathy is frequently misclassified in practice.

Anatomy & Clinical Presentation

Extensor mechanism structures and tendon loading mechanics as they relate to symptom onset.
