Dr. Daniel G. Stewart

Dr. Stewart, PT, DPT, is an accomplished Doctor of Physical Therapy, recognized for his exceptional skills and contributions to the field. With a solid background in Kinesiology and Exercise Physiology from The University of Utah, he furthered his expertise at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah, earning his Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Stewart has been instrumental in the development of ActivForce. His involvement in building and integrating this technology underscores his mission to enhance the precision of physical therapy assessments.

Dr. Frank Aerts

Dr. Frank Aerts (PT, DSc, OCS, CMP, CMPT, CMET, CCVT) is an associate professor in the DPT program at Manchester University, Fort Wayne, Indiana. He graduated from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium, in 1990 and earned his Doctor of Science from Andrews University. Since 2012, Frank has taught in the DPT and DSc programs at Andrews University, joining Manchester University full-time in 2023. His research focuses on the development of a hand-held dynamometry “Strength Profile" as a clinical outcome measure. He is the primary author of ‘Inter-rater Reliability of Sustained Aberrant Movement Patterns as a Clinical Assessment of Muscular Fatigue’ (2016) and co-authored ‘Hand-Held Dynamometry - Guidelines for Daily Clinical Practice’ (2018).

Becky Alwood

Becky Alwood holds an MHS in Occupational Therapy from the University of Indianapolis and a BS from the University of New Hampshire. With 18 years of experience, her career spans outpatient therapy, hospital-based rehab management, and teaching as adjunct faculty at Andrews University. Becky has presented at national conferences including the American Society of Hand Therapists and the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine. In 2011, she was named an AOTA Emerging Leader in Middle Management and later served as Editor for the AOTA's Administration and Management Special Interest Section. Becky was the corresponding author of ‘Inter-rater Reliability of Sustained Aberrant Movement Patterns as a Clinical Assessment of Muscular Fatigue’ (2016) and co-authored ‘Hand-Held Dynamometry: Guidelines for Daily Clinical Practice’ (2018).
