ActivForce Dev Diary #2 - October '24

Welcome back to Dev Diaries! The past month has been all about pivoting, prioritizing and problem-solving a bunch of items on our product roadmap. Let’s take a closer look:

Device SDK App (iOS)

  • Updated Device Feature Profile (DFP) properties on iOS, matched to Android.

Matching Android and iOS gives us more flexibility in future upgrades and allows the apps to dynamically adjust to the specific device being used.

Laguna Beta App (Android)

  • Updated SDK to include a low battery indicator and support for new devices.
  • Started architecture updates to enable offline test data collection, matching iOS functionality.
  • Pushed test configuration and summary features to November for further alignment with iOS.

This will ensure better compatibility and offline usability, and provide a more consistent user experience across platforms and devices.

Laguna Dashboard

  • Redesigned left/right test comparison for clearer, less cluttered reports.
  • Merged left and right test views into a single graph, similar to AF2 but with more flexibility.

This redesign improves usability and lays the groundwork for advanced comparison features.

Backend

  • Added patient info (e.g., ID, weight, demographics) to the test series data model.
  • Implementation begins with the dashboard, with app integration to follow.

This will enhance data tracking for more detailed and personalized reporting.

We’re certainly not slowing down as we reach year-end. We’ll have more exciting updates from behind the scenes for you soon — stay tuned!
