We haven’t let the holiday season stop our progress! We’ve finished 2024 strong, tackling technical challenges and fine-tuning the app functionality.
Here are a few highlights:
Laguna Beta App
Android App
- Development is progressing quickly by following the iOS template, reducing the need for iteration.
- Currently working on the test summary screen, which will bring the app to 90% feature parity with iOS.
- Test configuration is in progress, and test summary and settings screens will follow. Design updates are planned after functionality is finalized.
iOS App
- Adding details of the last three test series to the home screen, so users can quickly recall and review recent results.
- Updating the UI design to reflect the new ActivForce branding.
Once we’ve made these final updates — from a developer perspective, we’ll be ready to launch! We’ll start with the beta version and roll out to a soft release.
Laguna Dashboard
Left/Right Test Comparison
- Implemented a combined graph for left and right tests, displaying percentage differences for easier analysis.
- We’re now using a clinical-standard percentage difference formula, with the initial test result as the baseline value.
Add Patient Info to Test Reports
- Added patient weight to generate a force-to-weight ratio in test reports.
- Weight is stored as raw value for flexible and seamless unit conversion from metric to imperial.
These updates should make clinical data more intuitive, comparable and actionable.
ActivForce Dashboard
Force/Weight Ratio in Test Reports
- Added force-to-weight ratio as a feature in test reports (exclusive to the web dashboard for now).
UI Design Update
- Began updating the dashboard's UI to align with the new design introduced in the apps.
These should ensure a smoother and more consistent user experience across platforms, and improve the quality of reporting data.
We’re in a good place to get 2025 off to a great start. The new branding and UI looks great on the app, and we’re really excited to roll this out with the new features that will help improve clinical testing.
